Coming into this class I did not imagine it being harder than what it turned out to be. One thing that I struggled with was finding time to take photos. When coming into the class I felt like I had amature photography skills and through the class I am now intermediate. This was one of my beginning photos, there are many things that I feel I learned how to fix through taking this class. In the picture it looks blurry and very out of focus. This was one of the photos that I took more towards the end of the class, I feel a lot more confident with my photography skills. I also really started to use photoshop in this photo and worked with a lot of the contrast. I really liked doing the school context photo, I feel like this really threw me head first into photoshop. I learned a lot of new things from this assignment. Such as cutting photos out of a picture and then paste it into my base photo. During this class I learned many new things all ranging from photoshop to learning how to use a tripod properly. I am very glad that I took this class and had the chance to work on my photography skills,

For this assignment we were suppose to take picture of ourselves in different situation and then photoshop them in to the same photo. To take the pictures I used a tripod and also worked with manual changing aperture and shutter speed.
For this assignment we were told to pick some photoshop tutorial and to in a way teach ourselves what that tutorial was teaching. During this assignment I used many different new tools such as using png's and also working with making new layer to change their whole picture.
For this assignment I decided to do landscape> I decided this because I wanted to take some nice picture of one of the properties that my family owns. Unedited Best Photo: Edited Shutter- 1/60 Apperture- 8.0 ISO- 400 During this assignment I learned that putting your camera in landscape mode when taking landscape isn't always the best.In some of my picture I wanted to get the sun setting but couldn't get well shot photos that weren't washed out. I also learned that I generally like to manual focus my camera because it gives me a lot more control over what I get.
For this assignment we were suppose to take a picture on school grounds and photoshop it so that it looked like it was from another place. During this assignment I learned how to use many new tools in photoshop. I learned how to use the magic wand tool when it came to selecting and area of the picture you wanted to do something with. I also learned how to erase parts of the photo and to layer so that there is something different in the background like the sky. I also learned how to easily change the opacity of a picture so that it faded more than other pictures.
In this photo assignment I took some of my best photos that I have taken for various different assignments and worked on them in photoshop transferring them from color to black and white. Unedited Bets Photo: Edited Shutter- 1/60 Aperture- 5.6 ISO- 180 While working in photoshop with these photos I worked on changing the colors and the darkness they allow in. Some of the photos I struggled with how the photos darkness showed up after editing them in black and white, what I did to fix that was to bring the brightness up.
For this assignment we were giving the task to take good quality portraits for our friends, we were meant to use the studio set up for one photo and a bounce card for the other. During this assignment I learned how to use studio light and a bounce card. Something that I had to work with was the auto focus on my camera was momentarily not working so I had to work of manually focusing which I actually like better than auto focus.
For this assignment we were told to take many photos across a space and use photoshop to stitch them together to make a really panoramic photo. During this assignment I learned how to use a tripod correctly so that I am able to move my camera and take pictures of a wide space. I also learned how to use photoshop and photo merge all the series of photos.
I decided to do an event photo for this assignment I was going to a convention in Indianapolis and I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to do an event photo assignment. Unedited Best Photo: Edited Shutter- 1/160 Aperture- 3.5 ISO- 100 I really liked taking these photos some things that I did struggle with was getting to make sure that everyone was in focus when taking the photos. I worked with photoshop on a couple to do blemish fixing on some of the peoples faces.
I decided to take picture of my cat, he is an outside cat so I had to work with following him around and make sure that he didn't come and just rub on me. Best Photo: Shutter- 1/200 Aperture- 10.0 ISO- 400 Most of the photos I used did not need any photoshop other than to brighten the photo up a bit. I believe while taking the photos I was using the shutter setting so that a lot of the photos came out dark, I had to work with shutter because the cat that I was trying to take pictures of was constantly moving. Over all I got only a couple of photos that had little to no blur.
